Specialities

  • In over 30 years of clinical practice, I have had the opportunity to treat thousands of trauma survivors all over the world and have been repeatedly amazed by their profound transformations. Whether they experienced a single trauma or decades of trauma, I have found EMDR to be invaluable in its efficacy and expediency. EMDR has been shown to be a highly effective treatment for persons diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

    Fears and Phobias

    Infertility

Interpersonal difficulties (issues with trust, abandonment, social anxiety, performance anxiety)

    Low self-esteem

    Pain management

    Performance Enhancement

    Relationships ending (break-ups, bereavement)

  • INDIVIDUAL TREATMENT AND EDUCATION GROUPS – Each individual is unique in how the symptoms of ADHD/ADD affect them. Working together we develop strategies to help each person to manage their symptoms and to capitalize on their strengths. The focus is on developing tools to manage organizational skills, relationship challenges, study techniques, time management, relaxation/focus techniques, workplace issues and social skills.

  • I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and issues related to food, weight, and body image, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia, and Binge Eating Disorders. I work with a team of professionals, such as an internist, a dietician, and a psychiatrist when needed, to help stabilize the symptoms of the eating disorder. The goal is to attain a healthy weight, a fit body, a positive body image and improved self-esteem.
